LHA Under 21 Player Nominations
Players born in 1996, 1997 and 1998 are eligible to play in the U21 inter-provincial competition for 2016. It is anticipated, but not yet confirmed by Hockey Ireland that an inter-provincial tournament will be held in early September.
Clubs and schools are invited to nominate players that they believe have the potential to represent Leinster at U21 level to attend trials
Nominations should be completed by 31-May (extended date)

The incoming coaches will review the applications and invite players for trials – dates to be agreed
The majority of development sessions for the 2016 competition will take place over the summer months, but preparation for the 2017 competition will commence in the autumn
We appreciate that players may already have made travel/holiday plans and may miss the development sessions – but would hope that there will be an opportunity to assess players at some point before the main competition for 2016. Players are asked to indicate their availability throughout the summer on the application form.
Players born in 1997 and 1998 will be assessed for inclusion in the 2017 development panel
