Genesis Hockey Club is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic coach to lead our Ladies 2nd team (Division 4) for the upcoming season. 

We’re a growing, family-oriented club based in Dublin with over 600 members, including 360 families, 6 senior teams, and 15+ junior teams. As part of our continued development, we’re eager to bring in a coach who can support the growth of our Ladies 2s squad and contribute to the wider club culture.

The successful applicant will be playing or non-playing, and should be available for training 2 evenings per week and a saturday match. Level one coaching qualification desirable. 

North Kildare Hockey Club is an ambitious and rapidly developing club which operates five Senior women's teams in the Leinster leagues and is supported by a strong junior section.

Loreto College, St. Stephen’s Green are looking for coaches for the 2025/26 school year. We are seeking a head coach and goalkeeping coach (with opportunities for additional coaches for various age groups/teams).

Trainings take place in Sandymount (Railway & Lansdowne) from 4:15-5:45pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and on Wednesdays from 1:30-4pm. Matches are usually held on Wednesday afternoons and Saturday mornings.

development to support our Ladies 1st XI playing in Challenge B. The successful applicant will work

closely together with the coaches of Ladies 2ndXI, and those working with the junior members of the

club to assist integration into senior hockey. Responsible for planning and delivering challenging

technical coaching sessions 2 evenings per week to a mix of team players, while providing

development opportunities for talented upcoming players. The First Team Coach will attend 1stXI

matches on a Saturday.

They will support player development, ensuring a structured pathway for the integration of junior

players across the club into the senior squad.

Wicklow Hockey Club is Clubmark accredited, an ambitious and rapidly developing club which

operates two Senior Women's teams in the Leinster leagues, and aims to enter a third, training twice

a week in East Glendalough School. These are supported by a strong junior section. A second pitch is

in use at Dominican College Wicklow. 

The successful applicant will be non-playing, and should be available for training 2 evenings per week

Wicklow U16 Boys are seeking applications for the position of Team Coach for the 2025/26 season.

The U16 Boys are currently in the U16B Leinster League developing a young squad ready for the

coming season. The U16 Boys performed strongly last season and several players contributed

regularly to the senior teams.

develop the U16 Boys in tandem with our Men’s 2ndXI, potentially rebuilding a 3rdXI and guiding

junior members of the club into senior hockey. Responsible for planning and delivering a challenging

technical coaching session 1 evening per week to a mix of team players, while providing development

opportunities for talented upcoming players. The U16 Boys Coach will attend U16 Boys matches on

Sunday, and where possible 2ndXI Men’s Team matches on a Saturday.

Director of Hockey/Head Coach

Newbridge College invites applications for a Director of Hockey/Head Coach. The Director of

Hockey will work closely with the hockey coaches and hockey staff to develop and promote

our hockey programme. They will manage our player development strategy to provide the

best hockey experience for all our hockey players at Newbridge College.

The responsibilities/requirements of the Director of Hockey/Head Coach will include the

following.

 Designing and implementing a hockey development and progression plan for

Newbridge College.

 Implementing and managing a system for team selection, notification and record

keeping of participation.

 All administrative and coordination duties in relation to coaching, fixtures, umpires,

travel, equipment, and any other related tasks within the hockey department.

 Assist with sourcing coaches, where required, and oversee coach development to

enhance the experience of all coaches and students in the hockey department.

 Coordinate hockey strength and conditioning (in conjunction with our strength and

conditioning coach) and our summer training programme.

 Continue to manage player development into the summer term.

 Promote and foster participation in hockey.

 Candidates must have relevant hockey qualifications or equivalent.

 Have relevant experience of coaching which demonstrates a track record of success

and achievement in previous hockey roles.
