The team competes in EY2 Qualifiers / Leinster Division 1A. The coach will be responsible for planning and leading training sessions, match preparation, and squad development throughout the season. They are a team with plenty of experience and a number of young players with a lot of potential. Applicants require a minimum of a Level 1 coaching qualification or equivalent and previous coaching experience. We are also seeking coaches for our ladies 2nd, 3rd and 4th team who play in division 4, division 6 and division 10. The Director of Hockey will work closely with the hockey coaches and hockey staff to develop and promote our hockey programme. They will manage our player development strategy to provide the best hockey experience for all our hockey players at Newbridge College. The responsibilities/requirements of the Director of Hockey/Head Coach will include the following. Designing and implementing a hockey development and progression plan for Newbridge College. Implementing and managing a system for team selection, notification and record keeping of participation.
