We believe every young player deserves the opportunity to take part in a fun and respectful setting, free from harm, bullying, or intimidation.
To support this, Leinster Hockey is dedicated to:
• Promoting a safe and enjoyable experience for all underage players.
• Appointing a Children’s Officer to support the welfare of young participants.
• Appointing a Designated Liaison Person to communicate with relevant statutory bodies when needed.
• Responding promptly to any concerns related to the safety or wellbeing of young players.
• Ensuring all coaches and volunteers follow the LHA Code of Conduct.

Our policies are guided by the Hockey Ireland Code of Conduct for Young People, which applies across both the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. All LHA procedures apply to anyone under 18, including those eligible for Under-18 Interprovincial squads, participating in LHA-controlled activities or events.
