all aware that the
The Board of the Leinster Hockey Association feels that this offers an opportunity for hockey clubs to avail of the publicity that will surround the team and by taking some initiatives clubs should be able to source possible new members.
Each club could decide on a project or two or none in this regard. The Board feels that such an approach is not the best use of the voluntary resources at our disposal. Rather by getting together we can invent a best approach jointly, possible develop resources centrally, have one communications strategy and minimise any human effort involved.
There are many initiatives that we could undertake. The Board has decided to set up a working group representative of as many clubs as possible. The group will start with a blank canvass and should determine the parameters within which it will work.
So, we want to get moving immediately. Please nominate a person(s) that you feel would contribute to the working group and who would be prepared to give a commitment until the summer.
