Irish teams in European action this week

This weekend sees the senior women, U16 girls and boys, and U18 boys all take to the pitch around Europe! The Green Army's matches as well as the U18 Boy's matches will all be streamed live. Plus we'll have updates on all the teams on twitter all week so you can follow their progress. 

The Green Army begin their Eurohockey Championship II against France on Saturday at 1:30pm (Czech time). They will then face Ukraine on Sunday and Czech Republic on Tuesday to round out the pool matches, before the business end of the tournament begins on Thursday. The team are aiming to finish top 2 in order to qualify for the highest division in European hockey. The tournament website is hereLive stream here!

The U18 boys are also in Eurohockey Championship action as they head to Santander to play the best teams in Europe. They will come up against The Netherlands (July 19th), Scotland (July 20th) and Germany(July 22nd) in the group games before the classification matches begin on July 24thClick here for the tournament website. Live stream here! 

The U16 girls are in Bremen for a 6 Nations tournament with England, Spain, Belgium, Netherlands and Germany. Like their senior counterparts, they begin their tournament on Saturday and will face Belgium in their first match. The round-robin style tournament will also see the team play Germany (July 19th), England (July 21st), Netherlands (July 22nd) and Spain (July 24th). 

The U16 boys round out the teams competing as they face Netherlands (July 18th), Germany (July 19th), Spain (July 21st), Belgium (July 22nd) and England (July 24th).
