Ladies Section Notice re weather affected games

A large number of league and cup programmes fell victim to the freezing weather over the weekend. The Fixtures Committees would like to thank you for your hard work so far this season, particularly in relation to the Dec frost refixes. The workload is made easier if match secretaries work together and also coaches and teams. We know already that some of you are busy organising the refixes from yesterday, with this in mind we are setting out the following guidelines;
- Cup Matches 17th January - These games must be refixed and played by Sunday 15th February - next round is Sunday 22nd February.
- League Matches 17th & 18th February - These follow the 22 day rule however as some clubs have a few home games to organise we are extending this period to Sunday 15th February
- Refix Dates - When a club receives refix dates they must select one and reply within 72 hours as clubs with several home refixes are waiting on unused dates to give out to other clubs.
- Refix Dates - We ask that all clubs issue refix dates for matches postponed this weekend by Wednesday 21st January. Where clubs have more than one home game then please issue dates for at least 1 game, 2 if possible by Wednesday
Once refixes have been agreed please email ladieshockeyfixtures@gmail.com or admin@leinsterhockey.ie with the dates and the system will be updated.
