Mick McKinnon announced in LHA Coach Development Role

The Board of the Leinster Hockey Association is pleased to announce that Mick McKinnon has been appointed to a new Coach Development Role in the Academy.

Mick will be responsible for leading the development of over 50 coaches involved in the regional development centres through to the high performance inter-provincial squads (U16/18/21).

Speaking of the appointment LHA President, Percy Henchy said "we are delighted that Mick McKinnon has joined our Academy Programme.  I'm sure our management teams and players will benefit hugely from his knowledge and experience".

Mick has coached at all levels in Ireland from schools up to Senior International level.  During that time he has been involved in coach education and he has been instrumental in the writing of various courses for Hockey Ireland.
