LHA Coaching & Team Management Vacancies

The Leinster Hockey Association has a number of Coaching & Management vacancies - primarily within the Junior Age Group Development and Inter-Provincial Programme squads and are seeking applications/nominations for coaching and management roles with the following squads
Junior Age Group Squads
* Leinster Girls Under 16
* South East Leinster Girls Under 16
* Leinster Girls Under 18
* Leinster (including South East) Girls & Boys Development Panels
Adult Teams (Selected from players age over 18, playing South East or LHA Division 2 or below as appropriate)
* Leinster Junior Ladies (Over 18 playing Division 2 or below)
* South East Leinster Junior Ladies (Over 18)
* Leinster Junior Men (Over 18 playing Division 2 or below)
Coach & Manager positions are appointed for a period of up to 3 years and will be reviewed annually following the annual Inter-Provincial tournament.
Head Coaches should hold an IHA (or equivalent) Level 2 coaching award and Assistant Coaches should hod a Level 1 award. Coaches should expect to work within an LHA elite coach development framework which will be rolled out over 2016-17.
All coaches and team managers must
- be Code of Ethics for Young Children in Sport certified
- be Garda Vetted for a leadership role within Leinster HOckey
- sign up to the LHA Code of Conduct for Sports Leaders
