Circular to all Junior Girls Clubs (Leinster)

The following circular was distributed to all Leinster Junior Girls Club Co-ordinators on 14th January in respect of League and Cup Competitions:
As we near the end of the round robin stage of our leagues the Committee met to review the status earlier this week.
The schedule below details the cut off dates, quarter finals (where applicable) and semi-finals.
Note that it is the responsibility of the home team to return match results via text message by 6pm on the day of the match - both clubs should verify that the league tables have been updated correctly and notify the Committee of any errors or omissions.
League Finals
Due to the congested nature of the season (and as predicted at the start of the season), the finals for all leagues will now take lace on 03rd April (Minors & Juniors) and 10th April (X8/1st Years).

Hosting
Each year we ask clubs to bok three hour slots on their pitches in order that they can host two 11-a-side finals or four 8-a-side finals. We would appreciate if you could confirm by Sunday 24th January what times your pitches will be available on Sunday 3rd and/or Sunday 10th April.
Trophies
All trophies from last season should be engraved and returned to Andrea McAuley by Sunday 31st January. Clubs who fail to return a trophy will incur a €50 fine as per the LHA bye law. Please return trophies to : Newpark Sports Centre in an envelope/packaging marked for Andrea, c/o Avoca HC or to 71 Ardagh Park, Blackrock. (note trophies cost circa €5 to post).
Junior Jacqui Potter Cup Competition
We have had to modify the dates for the Cup Competition again to facilitate the additional Irish Under 16 training dates. As a result some clubs who had back league matches fixed have had to change those dates and we have extended the cut-off date for the round robin stages to accommodate this.
Please note that Cup Competitions takes priority over league matches (even if it means you lose out on playing that league game) and the Cup Final is scheduled for St Patricks Day alongside the Senior Ladies Finals.
Senior Wynne Cup Competition
A separate notice will issue re the Senior Wynne Cup - this is a competition geared towards players who are in 5th and 6th Year.
