David Judge RIP
October 18, 2015
The President and members of the Leinster Hockey Association along with the entire hockey community were very saddened to hear of the death of our former President and Honorary Life Member David Judge.
David was one of the greats of Irish Hockey having being capped on 124 occasions spanning a 21 year period. He also represented Great Britain in the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games. He was inducted into the inaugural Irish Hockey Hall of Fame.
As President of Leinster Men he co-chaired the merger committee which led to the establishment of the current Leinster Hockey Association. He also coached many teams to great success and was a long-time member of Three Rock Rovers.
We extend our sincere sympathy to Grainne and family.
Percy Henchy,
President,
Leinster Hockey Association.
