Leinster U16 Boys Interpro Training Squad Announced

The Under 16 Boy management would like thank all those who participated in the recent trials for the Under 16 Panel 2015 (Players born 2000 or later). We hope everyone found them to be beneficial and enjoyable. The coaches and team managers thought that the overall standard was very good.

We are aiming for an inter-provincial tournament to be held on 21-22 November. In the lead up to the tournament there will be two more development phases and a tournament in Northern Ireland followed by the final team preparation phase.
It is traditional for the Leinster U-16 team to travel to Newtownabbey (just outside Belfast) in August to take part in a weekend of matches in Mossley Hockey Club, and we will be doing so again this year. It is a great opportunity for the players to get to know each other and for the team to start working together on the pitch against a high calibre of opposition.
Training sessions for Mossley will take place as follows:-
Sun 9th Aug 15:45 – 18:00 Three Rock Rovers, Grange Road.
Sun 16th Aug 15:45 – 18:00 Three Rock Rovers, Grange Road.
Sat 22nd Aug – Sun 23rd Aug Mossley Overnight Trip. - Mossley Hockey Club Newtownabbey.
**Please note that those who were involved with the Irish Under16 Boys Training Panel only need to attend the session on Sunday 16th August 2015.
