Ladies Vets Tournament

The Annual Leinster Ladies Vets tournament took place on Friday 17th April in Pembroke Wanderers with a total of eight teams (2 groups of 4) taking part.
Group 1 - Genesis, Old Alex, Albert and Muckross played each other with Genesis winning all their matches and were crowned champions of group 1.
Group 2 - Loreto, Railway Union, Bray and Pembroke Wanderers - Railway Union won all their matches and won their section.
The overall winners of the League were Pembroke Wanderers who pipped Loreto by 1 point.
Many thanks to Eithne Coyle for collating the results and to Ruth and Grainne for making and serving the food and to Pembroke Wanderers for hosting the tournament. Let's hope that the Masters does not clash with the annual 7-a-sides next season as this detracts from the tournament and am sure we would have had at least 4 more teams!
