The following communication was sent to all Junior Club Reps during the week ending 24th June. It is important that all Junior Age Coordinators review the information and communicate any comments to the Youth Administrator by 14th July.

This calendars are to reflect the recent feedback received following the Youth Forums which included
- the request from all clubs for more matches
- that matches are not to be played on school holidays & bank holiday weekends
The calendar is a draft calendar and until we know the final numbers of entries per competition, we cannot guarantee the number of matches that can be facilitated in any one section. The committees have allowed for 10 league matches each, along with playoffs. It is yet to be determined if the leagues will be 6 per section with Home and Away matches or 10-12 teams in one league.
The aim of releasing the calendar earlier was to ensure that when clubs are looking at their team entries, they take the following into consideration.
Previously leagues would have been scheduled on opposite weekends i.e U16 one weekend and U14 next weekend, this cannot happen with the calendar this year and therefore clubs should look at this when looking at numbers for teams.
Scheduling - If your club has players on intepro/academy panels, please ensure your matches are scheduled earlier on Sundays to allow players to attend both club matches and Interpro/academy training
Please ensure when looking at your team entries that you take into consideration availability of coaches, availability of gk gear, pitch availability, umpire availability
Consideration to teams traveling further , generally match start times to be played between 11pm-3pm
If games need to be rearranged they are to be brought forward (permission must be granted from the Junior Club Committees to play games later and five days notice must be given)
