Girls Interprovincials - Finals Weekend
March 31, 2022
The finals for the InterProvincial Under 16 and Under 18 competition take place on Sunday 3rd April in Three Rock Rovers and it’s fantastic to see all 4 Leinster teams participating.
It’s been a long season for players and coaches and the 3rd team of Umpires and Officials. Many thanks to all who made it possible and especially to the parents who have ferried their daughters around – especially Leinster South who rotated between the 4 corners – Kildare, Kilkenny, Wexford and Wicklow – as well as additional trips to Dublin.

The matches will be played on Sunday afternoon at 2:45 (U16s) and 4:45 (U18s)
The Under 16 competition is very tight between each pairing. When they met during the league stages it required a penalty shoot-out to determine who would get the bonus point. So both Ulster and Leinster South are looking for revenge and the upper hand in these final games

The U18 competition will be a ‘local derby’ when Leinster South and Leinster take to the back pitch to determine the final placings – Leinster took the win the last time out but many of the Leinster South team players had just come through a hectic schools cup campaign so will be hoping to over-turn the result this time with a lot of fresh legs.
