Ladies Fixtures Information

The following circular was sent to all clubs ahead of the Ladies Fixtures meeting on 02nd July (7.30pm in Pembroke Wanderers HC).

This circular is very important for your club so please read ALL of the email very carefully or if are no longer on your club committee then PASS ON THIS EMAIL NOW, as it is very important

FIXTURES MEETING ON MONDAY 2ND JULY @ 7.30PM IN PEMBROKE WANDERERS HOCKEY CLUB EVERY CLUB MUST ATTEND AND CONFIRM ATTENDANCE BY RETURN.

There is a file attached to this email;

Fixtures for season 2018/2019 - file is self explanatory, there is a tab for each division and extra information can be found in the dates sheet which outlines all hockey competitions/activities for the season.
Dates - This is the first tab/sheet in this file and it contains all Leinster dates for cups and leagues, please take note of dates, especially cups.
Note the fixtures are generated by the website- This meeting sorts out "Home & Away" I do not want to hear "it's our home game because the file say so!" You are adults, talk to your opposition and agree. Any disputes, toss of a coin decides.

Fixtures Meeting Procedure

First of all every club must attend as this is where all clubs agree "home and away" with their opposition. The attached fixtures are generated by the system, this is your opportunity to change them to suit your clubs needs.
Please bring your clubs fixtures to the meeting and may I suggest that you do some work and come prepared. Also I am old fashioned and would say, print out your fixtures and bring them with you. Some people tried to work off their phones last year and I think they found it cumbersome.
Do not send a club rep to this meeting without explaining fully what happens at this meeting, otherwise your club may lose out - "lamb to the slaughter" comes to mind.
Wear a club top as it makes it easier for everyone to find one another at the meeting, or a badge/label!!
Please work with one another and be accommodating - what goes around, comes around so good vibes please. Remember, "it's our home game because the file say so!" is forbidden!

Fixtures Health Warning for Season 2018/2019 - THESE FIXTURES MAY CHANGEAs always we are down the food chain when it comes to fixtures and dates, with the FIH top of the pile. As we prepare for next season Hockey Ireland are still waiting on dates from the FIH for international competitions in 2019. Hopefully things will not filter down to us but you never know, so hence the ryder.

Division 12 ?

We will issue these in September when we have confirmed teams in division 12. Please contact us to confirm your team's entry or if your club wants to add a team.
