General Data Protection Regulations Presentation

New EU legislation on data protection will come into place on May 25th of this year. Hockey Ireland has produced a short presentation for branches, clubs, etc outlining the changes and implications for all arising from this legislation. The presentation aims to answer questions that organisations may have around getting ready for the changes and indicates the steps that should be taken. This will go out as a general email to all clubs today.
Also a number of LSP’s have already run and will be running workshops around GDPR. We would encourage all organisations in sport to attend if possible one of these presentations to arm themselves with the knowledge that is readily on offer.
