- Girls U16 & U18 Inter-Provincials: 20-22 October (Venue tbc – Ulster based)
The LHA Board are pleased to announce the following appointments to the Junior Age Group Coaching and Management Panels for 2017

- It is anticipated that the current gaps in the assistant coach roles for SE U18s and LHA Boys U18s will be filled shortly. The coaching teams will be making use of additional support coaches who have been involved in the development programmes in the lead into the competitions as well as invited guest coaches to cover off specialist areas from time to time.
- There are two vacancies at team manager level for the LHA girls’ squads. If anyone is interested in those roles please get in contact with lha.interpros@gmail.com / leinsterhockey@gmail.com Applicants should have prior experience of team management in a club or at provincial level.
Assessments are currently taking place for all age groups and summer training panels will be named over the coming 2 weeks.
The summer programme will allow for all players to have a minimum 4 week gap in their training. This may vary from player to player (e.g. players on Irish panels taking part in European competitions will not be released until mid/end July so therefore their rest period won’t conclude until mid/end August, while other players may have their gap period during June).
