Under 16: Born 2002 / 2003 / 2004*
Under 18: Born 2000 / 2001
Under 21: Born 1997 / 1998 / 1999
* Participants must be in secondary school to take part in the Under 16 development

The inter-provincial competition date for 2017 is 22-24 September - Venue to be agreed.
Nominations
Clubs & schools are now being asked to nominate players

Nomination must be received by Friday 5th May
There are a limited number of places available in the assessment centre so Please only nominate those boys who have the potential to play at inter-provincial level. Leinster Hockey have a wealth of talent in this particular age group and a large cohort of players are currently involved in Irish U16 and U18 national and regional development panels.
· Those players on the national panels, although invited to an assessment session, will not be participating in the development programme until they have been released by Ireland and have completed the appropriate rest/recovery period. These players should register for u18s if they want to be considered for selection and to ensure that they are included in key updates.
· Players selected on the final Irish teams to participate in the 6 Nation tournaments in Nottingham in July will join for the trial phase at the end of August.
There will be a charge for taking part in the programme which will be used to offset the running costs and all players will be expected to register online.
· All players will attend 3 x assessment sessions
Following the assessment phase a number of boys will be invited to participate in the training panel from which the 2017 Inter-Provincial team will be selected
Note that boys must be playing members of an LHA affiliated club or school to be eligible for selection on a Leinster Inter-Provincial squad.
