Title: Regional Development Officer (Leinster)
Salary: €25000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Office Location: UCD Belfield
Contract: Permanent (6 month probationary period)
Start Date: May / June 2017
Hockey Ireland, in partnership with the Leinster Hockey Association, wish to recruit a Regional Development Officer on a full-time basis.
The successful applicant will deliver Hockey Ireland programmes in the Leinster Region, working with clubs, schools and volunteers towards targets set out in the Hockey Ireland National Development Plan. They will be responsible for the continuing management of development-related hockey programmes within the province. This includes the support of existing structures and the implementation of sustainable development initiatives, as well as delivery of coaching and umpiring courses.
Access to private transport is required as the successful candidate will need to travel throughout the Leinster region. This role requires flexibility with regards to working hours.
