Irish U18 Training Panel Announced

Congratulations to all the LHA players who have been selected for the Irish Under 18 Girls Training Panel announced earlier today :
Grace McLoughlin (Railway Union, Loreto Beaufort); Isabelle Delamer (Old Alexandra, Alexandra College); Niamh Carey (Railway Union); Caitlin Sheeran (Avoca HC, Loreto Foxrock); Katie Fearon (Railway Union, Loreto Beaufort); Sara Torrans (Loreto, Loreto St Stephens Green) Siofra O'Brien (Avoca HC, Loreto Foxrock); Christina Hamill (Loreto HC, Loreto Foxrock).
The following players are invited for trial as they missed the original trials due to illness or injury
Yasmin Pratt ( Kilkenny HC, Kilkenny College); Sophie Roopnarinesingh (Old Alex, Alexandra College), Caroline Mathews (Muckross HC, Holy Child Killiney), Nina Heisterkamp (Railway Union, St Kilians).

Following two weekends of U18 Irish trials in Santry, Steven Arbuthnot has reduced his numbers down to a training panel moving into the New Year. After the two trials he remarked “Congratulations to all those who made it through to the reduced selection. All girls who were with us over the last two sessions deserve credit for being selected for trial and it was good to see as many players as we did. We are looking forward to seeing how we can push this reduced group of players towards international standards in the coming months.”
The upcoming training schedule will be released to players soon via the U18 manager.
*Please be advised there will be further reductions in the squad in January after the next session, when all have been trialed appropriately.
