Leinster Junior Girls Club Leagues & Fixtures 2016-17
The Committee is looking to expand our members for 2016-17 and would appreciate if clubs would come forward to volunteer or contact leinstergirlsclubhockey@gmail.com
Key reminders for 2016-17
- Girls in or below 5th class in primary school are not permitted to play on league teams.
- The 8 a-side league games require a Goal Keeper (in full kit, including helmet)
- Players in 4th year (Transition Year) may play in the Junior leagues
- Girls in 5th Year or who may have skipped transition year are NOT eligible to play in the Junior Leagues
Sunday 11th Sept - League & Cup Entries Closing Date
- Please complete the online registration form to confirm your club entries for 2016-17 season
- You should review the consolidated competition rules & regulations when deciding how many teams to enter in each competition
- Entry fees for league & cup teams were agreed at teh LHA AGM at €15 per entry per competition
Tue 27-Sep: Annual Fixtures Meeting, Three Rock Rovers Hockey Club at 7.30pm
- A provisional league fixture list will issue for leagues and cups in advance of the meeting
- Match dates are expected to be broadly similar to last season with the E8's played on a different Sunday to the Minors & Juniors
- Clubs typically arrange blitz events for players from 1st to 6th class to coincide with the league dates.
- Please wear a club top/sweater so that you are easily identified!!
Fri 30-Sep: First Registration deadline for league players
- All players must be registered (whether playing on a league team or not). This includes non - league players (eg., Senior Infants to 6th Class)
- Changes to be submitted by 5pm on last day of each month
- Please register all remaining players by the end of October
Sun 14-Dec: Return all Cups & Shields from 2015-16 Season
- ALL shields and cups to be returned by December
- Trophies & Shields should be engraved with winning club's name and year of the final
