Gameday Time Requirements: Inputting Results and Team Sheets

Inputting team sheets, results and stats is an important part of the Gameday system. Ensuring your team has the correct fixtures and results for each league is essential. However, it is important to be aware of the time limits in place, as matches can become locked if information is not submitted within the required timeframe.
Here are some important steps to help you avoid your match being locked and what to do if it happens.
Submitting Team Sheets and Match Information
When submitting team sheets, editing fixture details or making changes to a game, the scheduled start time on Gameday is important.
For example, if a game is scheduled to start at 12pm, all team sheets and match information must be submitted before 12pm. Once the scheduled start time is reached, the match will lock and you will no longer be able to make changes.
To avoid this, please ensure that the correct start time is entered on Gameday early in the week. We recommend submitting team sheets and all relevant information 20–30 minutes before the game is due to start to allow enough time to complete the process.
Inputting Results, Reports and Stats
Once the game has finished, the match will unlock again on Gameday. Clubs then have a 72-hour window to enter results, reports and stats before the match locks again.
We recommend submitting all information as soon as possible after the game and aiming to have everything completed within 48 hours to avoid any issues with the match locking.
Dealing with a Locked Match
We understand that issues can arise, and a match may occasionally become locked before all the required information has been entered.
If your match is locked, please email admin@leinsterhockey.ie, explaining which game needs to be reopened.
Once the admin team responds, the match can be reopened, giving you a 15-minute window to make the necessary changes. These windows operate in 15-minute intervals, for example, 12:00–12:15pm or 12:15–12:30pm.
Please note that the admin inbox is monitored Monday to Friday, from 9:00am to 4:30pm.
