Leinster Hockey National Festival & U21 Interprovincial Fixtures
May 13, 2026
It promises to be an action-packed weekend at Rathdown School as our Leinster teams return to action across the Girls National Festival and the U21 Interprovincial Fixtures.
The weekend begins on Saturday with the return of the U21 Interprovincial matches, before the Girls National Festival takes centre stage on Sunday, welcoming teams from Leinster, Leinster South, Ulster, Munster and Connacht for a fantastic day of development hockey.
National Festival – Sunday, May 17th
The National Festival is always one of the standout events in the development programme calendar and will see four Leinster teams and three Leinster South teams take part in a full day of action at Rathdown School.
Each team will represent their district, continuing on from the brilliant atmosphere and format of our Regional Blitz events earlier this season. Teams from Ulster, Munster and Connacht will also travel to take part, with over 350 players expected across the day.

The festival gets underway at 9:30am across both pitches and will continue through until 5:30pm. Leinster 3 will open the day against Connacht 1 on Pitch 1, while Leinster 1 face Ulster 3 on Pitch 2.
The full fixture schedule and squad panels will be available in our Digital Programme, which will be released on Friday morning.
Everyone is looking forward to another fantastic day of hockey and the brilliant atmosphere that always surrounds the National Festival.
