National Coaching Conference – A Day Not to Be Missed!

Hockey Ireland’s National Coaching Conference is fast approaching and will take place on Sunday, September 14th at the Sport Ireland Campus. This event is designed for coaches of all levels and promises to be an inspiring day of learning and connection.
We’re delighted to welcome a world-class line-up of guest speakers:
- Jami Mulders – Former German international, now Performance Manager with KNHB, and part of the coaching teams behind the Dutch Women’s 2022 World Cup triumph and Germany Men’s 2023 World Cup victory.
- Joy Jouret – Former Belgian international and Honour Division coach, with specialist expertise as a Mental Coach supporting elite teams across multiple sports.
- Mick McKinnon – One of Ireland’s most successful coaches and the current assistant coach of the Irish Women’s Hockey Team.
Throughout the day, our speakers will share insights into high-performance coaching and explore how these principles can be adapted to benefit coaches and players at all stages of the game.
Beyond the presentations, the conference is also a great chance to meet and connect with fellow coaches, exchange ideas, and strengthen links within the hockey community.
