Ann Ronan

Role: Interpro Development & Competition

Biography:

Ann Ronan was co-opted onto the LHA Board in July 2014 with responsibility for the Interprovincial Development & Competition Programmes.

Ann has been Chair of the LHA Junior Girls Club Development Committee since 2013 and prior to that was an active committee member, responsible for a number of key initiatives including

- restructuring the junior girls club leagues and cup competitions in 2012

- piloting inter-regional development groups for clubs in 2011

Ann is an Honorary Life Member and a Vice President of Muckross Hockey Club with responsibility for the development of the junior girls section. Muckross Hockey Club has gone from strength to strength at all levels over the last few seasons and the numbers of players moving from the junior club to the senior club has been one of the cornerstones of a wider strategic plan to develop the club and its members.
