July 05, 2014
It has been a great weekend for the Irish Men's and Under 16 Boys and Girls teams as
they faced England and Wales respectively in a series of games.
The Irish Men played two games against England on Friday and Saturday in Belfield. In the first encounter the Green Machine were narrowly beaten 3-2 with the Irish goals scored by Shane O'Donohoe and Michael Watt. However, earlier today the boys in green leveled the series beating the no 5 ranked team in the world 2-1. Michael Watt scored both Irish goals.
This weekend also saw the Boys play Wales in Wrexham and the Girls played Wales in
Belfield. Both teams won easily on Friday and followed up with strong performances again today with the U16 Boys winning 7-0 and the U16 Girls winning 7-1.
