Summer Social Hockey
May 19, 2014
Quick Hockey Summer Leagues are a great social way to keep active for guys and
girls of all levels of ability!
Quick Hockey is 5 a-side, fast paced and easy to play. There are a maximum of 8 players per squad with 5 players on the pitch at any one time. Matches are 45 minutes in length made up of three 15 minute sections with a brief break in between.
Your team plays one match per week on the same night and in the same venue with each league running for 8 weeks in total. There are lots of options in terms of league standard, venues and dates - it all depends on what suits you and your team best! More details on our different leagues are below:
· Mixed Social League: Played with a large lightweight ball - perfect for a wide range of abilities including beginners. A maximum of 2 male players are allowed on the pitch at any one time.
· Womenâs Social League: Played with the large lightweight Quick Hockey ball - perfect for women who wants to play fun fast paced hockey.
· Womenâs Competitive League: Played at a more competitive standard with players at a higher level of ability. A standard size hockey ball is used.
You can sign up for as many leagues as you like however you may only play for one team per league per night. If you donât have a full squad of 8 players, you can also sign up as an individual and weâll do our best to place you with a team.
