Changes to LHA Ladies Fixtures

The following circular was sent to clubs from the Ladies Fixtures Committee regarding changes to the LHA Ladies Calendar :
As you may be aware we set our fixtures every season around the IHA Calendar which schedules Irish Competitions. In fairness, once agreed the IHA calendar does not change unless due to unforeseen changes forced on it due to changes to the International hockey calendar.
Unfortunately this is one of those seasons where the IHA calendar has to change due to changes in the FIH calendar and the scheduling of Champions Challenge in April/May, normally this tournament is scheduled for October/November.
Anyway we now have to reschedule the last two weekends of the Leinster League, Division 1 only, as these dates are now scheduled for IHL matches.
The changes are as follows;
* All league fixtures from 1st March 2014 are now scheduled Saturday 4th January 2014
* All league fixtures from 8th Match 2014 are scheduled for a "Fixtures Double Weekend" on Sunday 16th February 2014
Remember if both teams are agreeable you may bring these fixtures forward.
Irish Senior Cup - Round 3 - 1st February
I have Leinster fixtures scheduled for this date and normally if you are involved in the ISC your Leinster fixture is postponed and rescheduled under the 22 day rule. Now that the season has been curtailed due to the calendar changes could I ask that perhaps you would consider playing your Leinster Fixture on the Sunday 2nd February.
