Under age for boys in clubs with small numbers
Last season the development committee oversaw the Leinster LIONS which was a team made up of players from a number of clubs that took part in the under sixteen competitions. All the people involved agree that the involvement was a success. There is a broad agreement to enter a LIONS team for the under sixteen league and cup next season.
There is also a number of people interested in doing something similar at under 14 level.
Over the past few years we have arranged coaching jamborees plus matches for under twelve's. If the interest justifies it then we will be prepared to support it again to the extent of a session once per month.
If your club does not have the numbers to partake in any underage group then you are welcome to get involved in these initiatives. Let us know and we will include you in future
communications.
We also need volunteers to do various jobs example team managers, coaching session
organisers, coaches and assistant everythings!
We are convinced that these initiatives offer a great opportunity for the smaller clubs to develop quality players. However it is important that all clubs do their bit and put
our shoulders to the wheel.

Similarly if particular club memebers wish to be included on the email mailing list then let us know. If there is sufficient interest then the development committee will start to put
arrangements in place. If there is not a reasonable interest then we obviously will not continue with the plan.
