Pietie Coetzee Hockey Clinic

Pietie Coetzee, the world record goalscorer, will be coming to Dublin to host team clinics from
28 Oct - 1 Nov. Pietie is a professional hockey player and coach, having played for various clubs in Holland and competed at numerous Olympics and World Cups throughout
her career for South Africa.
Being one of the first woman in the game to master the skill of dragflicking, she has an amazing record of scoring 277 goals in 276 international matches. Her trip to Dublin will be the first time she has travelled abroad to give clinics and is a unique and possibly once in a
lifetime opportunity.
She is looking to attract Clubs to bring their youth teams to attend two hour sessions in Alexandra College.
Clubs can bring u12, u14 or u16 teams and 20 players can attend per session. Prices for clinics are comparable to normal hockey camps yet your players will be coached by a World Record holder in our sport. If clubs take more than one session then a discount will be applied.
She will also be assisted at Clinics by Jethro Eustice, the current South African senior mens team defender.

" I have been coaching at varies levels since 1995. With 16 years experience in the industry as well as playing at top international level for 15 years I am eager to share my knowledge with players and coaches alike. This knowledge has been built up over the years by amongst other:
- Playing against over 30 countries
- Playing four seasons in the Dutch league
- Assistant coach at the University of Indian USA
- Coached at summer camps all over USA
- Played at three Olympic Games
- Three World Cups
- Current World Record Holder for most international goals

The idea of the clinics is to help teams prepare, with their coach, for the exciting season ahead as a group, to individually increase each players skill repertoire and to ultimately get children to love the game.
Pietie will show you all the techniques that have made her the World Record Holder in goalscoring and an Internationally feared and respected player. She will share her secrets to
success, training regimes and tips for what it takes to be a Champion.
Clinics will be held at Alexandra College water base hockey pitch and gym.
