Ladies Section - Division 14 & Sunday League

The Ladies Section has issued the following circular for clubs entering
Division 14 or the proposed Sunday League Competition.
Last Team
Please can you check your playing numbers and ensure that you have enough players to fill all your teams that you have entered in the leagues. Last season some of the divisions suffered due to teams pulling out mid-season. Also following the survey of clubs at the end of last season and your response, we will be putting limits on the number of "last team postponements" that a Club can request. More details to follow later.
Division 14
This is the last official division in the ladies leagues. We are inviting entries for this league, we are hoping to have 7 teams in this league which will give it 12 fixtures. The closing date for team entries to this division is Friday 13th September.
Sunday League
A motion was proposed and passed at the LHA AGM to establish a Sunday league. This league will have the following features;
- This league will consist of 7 teams.
- It is a non-competitive league, which does not feed into the Saturday leagues.
- Games are played on Sundays on the designated fixture date.
- Players who are registered on teams in the Saturday leagues may not play in the Sunday league - Floats may play in the Sunday League
- Players who play in the Sunday League may sub up to Saturday leagues only 7 times and then must be registered on the 8th sub-up.
The closing date for team entries to this division is Friday 13th September. As we are definitely limiting this league to 7 teams then we will accept the first 7 entries received by this date.
