We would like to thank the outgoing committee for all their hard work over the last number of years. We appreciate the time and effort it took to run Mens Fixtures & Registrations with such a small group of people.
Aims:
â To promote and encourage the playing of hockey in Leinster.
â To avoid fixture congestion and double headers for higher leagues. However we are constrained in this by the limited number weekends assigned to us by the IHA.
â To bring a number of new initiatives forward to help promote hockey and increase the social aspect of the game as well as player numbers in all leagues.

Role of Division/Cup Managers:
The role of the division manager is to coordinate the successful and smooth running of the leagues and cups. They will be the first point-of-call for postponements, re-fixes and issues with their assigned leagues & cups. It will be a hands on approach and it is hoped that the majority of issues can be resolved ahead of time.
Season Start/End dates:
Div 1-3 starts Saturday the 14th of September and finishes 1st of March
IHL starting on 15th of March
Mills final on 17th of March
Div 4-9 starts Saturday the 28th of September and finishes on the 22nd of March
Galtrim/Walters Cup are currently penciled in towards the end of the season.
Christmas break runs from 21st Dec - 12th Jan. Excluding Indoor, Neville Cup & U21s.
Season Fixture List:
Work has begun in earnest on the 2013/2014 season fixture list. All leagues are affected by the Div 2 resolution at this years AGM. We would ask for your patience as we work through this in as fair and efficient manner as possible.
Trial Weekends:
It is the intention of the committee to trial Friday night, Saturday evening and Sunday matches during the coming season for Division 1. For example on a chosen bank holiday weekend matches could be scheduled for a Friday night; leaving players free for the remainder of the weekend.
Postponements & Re-fixes:
Rules surrounding postponements and re-fixes will be rigorously enforced for the coming season. The committee would like all teams to engage with their division Manager as soon as any issues arise.

Registrations
With regard to the processing of Registrations and Match Cards the following changes will be introduced:
â The registration process will be streamlined as much as possible
â A basic online system will be put in place to allow for management of registration and verification of player eligibility
â Match cards will also be submitted digitally for faster and more transparent processing
Physical match cards must still be submitted to the Registration Secretary by post to:
