IHA Awards

Congratulations to Sarah Scott who won the Under 18 Coach of the Year at the IHA Awards on Saturday evening. Sarah coaches St Gerards and the Leinster Under 16 Girls Interprovincial Squad.
Carol Metchette, who recently retired from International umpiring, won the Umpire of the Year Award. Carol was part of the umpiring team at both the London 2012 and Beijing 2008 Olympics. She has over 130 International Caps.
Congratulations also to Loreto Hockey Club who won the Youth Club of the Year. Loreto HC have put a huge amount of time and effort into developing their Junior Section and this awards is richly deserved.
