DLR, Dublin City and Fingal Enjoy District Cup Success

A fantastic weekend of hockey at the District Cup Finals saw Dublin City claim the Boys District Cup, while DLR were crowned Girls District Cup champions on Sunday.
In the Girls competition, Fingal enjoyed a hugely successful day, claiming both the District Trophy and District Plate to round off a brilliant weekend of hockey.
The Boys District Cup saw five teams compete in a round-robin format, with the top two teams progressing to the final. Dublin City faced South County in the final and came out on top to lift the Boys District Cup.
In the Girls competition, the District Cup, Trophy and Plate were all up for grabs. DLR claimed the top prize, defeating South County in the District Cup Final. Fingal completed a brilliant double, winning both the District Trophy and District Plate with victories over Dublin City and Leinster South, respectively.
It was a fantastic day of hockey, with some brilliant performances on display across all three competitions. Congratulations to every player, coach and team involved in what was a brilliant weekend of District Cup Finals!
