District Cup Finals Weekend

It’s District Cup Finals weekend! The very first edition of the District Cup Finals takes place this Saturday and Sunday, with players from across the province battling it out for the chance to become the first-ever District Cup champions.
On Saturday, the Boys District Cup takes centre stage at The King’s Hospital, with five teams competing for the title. On Sunday, the Girls District Cup Finals will take place at Mount Anville, with three titles up for grabs — the District Cup, Trophy and Plate.
It promises to be a brilliant weekend of district hockey!
Girls District Cup Finals
The Girls competition will see each section — Cup, Trophy and Plate — begin with a semi-final phase across the two pitches.
The winners of each semi-final will progress to Pitch 1 to compete for the respective title, while the runners-up will face each other to battle for third place.
Qualification for each competition was decided during the opening round of the District Cup on July 18th, with teams now ready to compete for the honours this Sunday.

Boys District Cup
The Boys competition will take place on Saturday, with five teams battling to become the first-ever District Cup champions.
Each team will play in a round-robin format, with the top two teams at the end of the group stage progressing to the District Cup Final.
