February has been another action-packed month for Leinster Hockey, both on and off the pitch. From major finals and partnership announcements to indoor success and exciting league action, there has been plenty to celebrate across the province. Here’s a look back at the key highlights.
AerCap and Leinster Hockey Announce Partnership Renewal
We were delighted to confirm the renewal of our partnership with AerCap. Their continued support plays a vital role in the development of hockey across Leinster, particularly through our development programmes and key initiatives. SG Senior Cup Final
A fantastic occasion saw over 1,000 spectators in attendance, with more than 1,200 tuning in to watch online as Wesley College claimed a 1–0 victory over Rathdown. It was a superb showcase of school hockey, played in a brilliant atmosphere. Congratulations to Wesley College on a well-earned title. Full Match report
Launch of Leinster Hockey +
February also saw the official launch of Leinster Hockey +. Developed in collaboration with WiiStream, Leinster Hockey + allows fans, families, and the wider hockey community to sign up and watch selected Leinster Hockey events live.
During the 2026 season, Leinster Hockey confirmed the live streaming of the SG Senior Cup Final, four Cup Finals on St Patrick’s Day, and the Senior Schoolboy Cup Final, with all fixtures made available free of charge. Further matches are set to be announced in the coming weeks as the platform continues to grow. Learn more

Technical Skills Clinics Announced
Leinster Hockey has confirmed that two Technical Skills Clinics will take place over the Easter break, providing young players with an excellent opportunity to further develop their game.
The clinics will be led by Arul Anthoni, one of Ireland’s most experienced coaches. Arul brings international playing experience with Malaysia and has previously served as Assistant Coach of the Ireland Men’s Team and Head Coach of Malaysia, alongside coaching multiple IHL Division 1 teams.
The programme focuses on the core technical skills essential for player development, supporting junior players in improving their performance at school, club, and aspiring representative levels. Sign up now


Development Programme Training Panels Announced
Leinster Hockey was delighted to announce the training panels for our Girls’ and Boys’ Development Teams. The selected groups include the Leinster Girls’ and Boys’ 2011 panels, as well as the U18 Leinster South Girls’ panel and the Leinster Boys’ and Girls’ U18 training panels.
We look forward to working with all players as they continue their development over the coming months.

The Road to St Patrick’s Day Finals
The countdown to the St Patrick’s Day Finals is well underway, with semi-finals taking place over the coming days. Finals have now been confirmed for the Jacqui Potter Cup, Jacqui Potter Shield and the U16 Benny Atkinson Cup. We look forward to what promises to be another memorable day of hockey.
Leinster Indoor Finals Success
Congratulations to Three Rock Rovers on winning the Leinster Indoor title before going on to claim All-Ireland success — a fantastic achievement at both provincial and national level.
In the Leinster Women’s Indoor competition, Railway Union were crowned Leinster champions and went on to finish runners-up in the All-Ireland Finals — a tremendous performance.


European Indoor Championships
A massive congratulations to Three Rock Rovers and Railway Union for their outstanding performances in the European Indoor competitions. Representing Leinster and Ireland on the European stage is a significant achievement.

Senior Premier Final
The Senior Girls Premier Final takes place this Friday, between Holy Child Killiney and St Andrews as both battle to be crowned Champions. The game will take place at Three Rock Rovers at 2pm.
LHA League Action
League action has continued at pace in Women’s Division 1 and Men’s Division 1A. Glenanne currently lead the Men’s Division 1A table, while they also sit top of the Women’s Division 1. Corinthians remain close behind in the women’s competition, just two points off top spot.
