Leinster Hockey Boys & Girls Under 14 Indoor Hockey Tournament

Portrane Hockey Club in conjunction with Leinster Hockey are delighted to invite Leinster hockey clubs to play in the Annual indoor hockey tournament for the Under 14 age group which will once again take place across the month of January 2022. It is planned to have 10 competing clubs playing for both a Cup and Shield. The tournament will take place from Sunday 9th January to Sunday 30th January at Donabate Portrane Community Centre.

Note:
Times of the games will be from 8.45am to 13.00pm for Girls and 13.15pm to 4.30pm for Boys.
Entry Fee €80. 00 per team
Max players per squad :12. Games are 6 a side. Goalkeeper and 5 outfield players.
Goal Keeper must have full kit
The tournaments will comprise of two groups of Five over two weekends on the 9th January and the 16th January. The top 5 Clubs, will qualify for Cup Final Sunday on January 30th and the other 5 Clubs, will compete for Shield Final Sunday on January 23rd. It is important if you are entering the competition you are available to play on the above dates. Each Club are also expected to bring an umpire to assist in the officiating of the games. It is an ideal tournament for any young umpires in your club. Both the Shield Final and Cup Final Sunday will conclude with the top 2 teams in each group playing off in a final. Once clubs have confirmed entry to the tournament format and fixtures will be sent onto club contact. We look forward to welcoming you all again to Portrane in January .
