Following the recent AGM the following officers were elected to the Board of the Leinster Hockey Association

There are a number of vacancies at both Board level and in supporting roles. As agreed at the recent LHA AGM the Board is asking clubs to nominate persons they think are qualified for any of the following vacant roles:
- LHA President
- LHA Vice President
- LHA Hon Secretary
In addition to the executive roles listed above the Board would like to appoint to the following positions
- LHA Children's Officer [non Board role]
- LHA Data Protection Officer [non Board role]
- Chair of Rules & Regulations Working Group [non Board role] with responsibility of reviewing current LHA competition rules and regulations and making a recommendation back to the Board by 30th November 2018
- Volunteer Coordinator [non Board role] with responsibility for organising/overseeing volunteers at LHA events (Interprovincials, Cup Finals)
The Board has also approved a new Junior Administrator Role for the 2018-19 season. This part-time (pilot) role will be advertised in the coming days and will assist the Youth Chair and subcommittees with the administration of junior club and school competitions & communications.

Grounds/Pitch loans
Going forward pitch loan applications will be brought to the general membership once a year at the Annual General Meeting. Currently two clubs are in discussion with the Grounds Committee in respect of applying to the LHA for loans. If other clubs are considering bringing forward an application for review and possible vote at the 2019 AGM they should contact the Grounds Committee [grounds@leinsterhockey.ie] no later than 31st July.
