|Irish Men's O65 Coach||The Irish mens 65s, fresh from attaining a World Cup silver medal in Tokyo, are looking to appoint a coach for the 23/24 and 24/25 seasons to take the team through a European Championship (2023 in Valencia) and a World Cup 2024.|
This is an exciting challenge for a coach seeking to build on their existing experience and work with a full international side. The role allows for a coach to be involved at club level alongside team responsibilities if they already have other coaching commitments.
In a normal season the Men's O65s side has between six and eight training sessions (Sundays), a friendly tournament (usually Friday to Sunday) and also competes in a minimum of three International tournaments (two of them Friday to Sunday and the other one seven to ten days long.)
Our current pattern is that we will have monthly training sessions held on Sundays ( rotating between Dublin and Belfast). There are a minimum of two weekend International tournaments ( Home Nations and the Celtic Cup) and each year a longer international tournament ( either Europeans or World Cup)
Although this is an unpaid role, we cover all reasonable expenses incurred in performing the required duties.

If you are interested in applying for this role then please send your coaching CV together with a brief covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org

In return we offer the opportunity to play an important role in shaping the development of the youth section of the club along with competitive remuneration for such a key position, and a chance to create a training environment, ambience, and vibe that will resonate with our children and empower our coaches.
