Donal Cadogan wins March Volunteer of the Month

April 28, 2021

The Leinster Hockey Development Committee is delighted to announce that Donal Cadogan from Kilkenny Hockey Club has been awarded the March 2021 Volunteer of the Month Award.

Donal was one of the founding members of the club’s Youth Section which has seen numbers growing each year.

Everyone in Kilkenny Hockey Club is delighted that Donal has been given this award.  He is well known by everyone in the club for his enthusiasm and dedication to growing our sport in the region – Robert Morris, Kilkenny HC Secretary

Nothing is every too much trouble for Donal.  Hail, rain or shine he welcomes every junior player and parent at each session, organises all the fixtures and events for the juniors and stores all the equipment in his home as the club doesn’t have its own storage facility – Eric Comerford, Kilkenny HC

Congratulating Donal on the awardFiona Walshe, LHA Director for Development added that “it is wonderful to be able to award the March Volunteer of the Month to Donal for his long service to hockey both in his club and to the region noting that he has been actively involved in development in the region for a number of years both as a coach and manager of the Under 16 Interprovincial squad”.

Congratulations Donal!
