The Leinster Junior Girls Committee would like to draw your attention to the following key notices and dates for your junior girls club hockey this season.

 Sun 14-Sep: League & Cup Entries Closing Date

·          Please return entry form to : leinstergirlsclubhockey@gmail.com

·          You should review the consolidated competition rules and regulations when deciding how many teams to enter in each competition

·          Entry fees per team per league are set at €10 and €15 for the cup.

 Tue 23-Sep: Annual Fixtures Meeting, Pembroke Wanderers HC 8pm

·          A provisional league fixtures list will issue for leagues and cups in advance of the meeting

·          Clubs typically arrange blitz events for players from 1st to 6th class to coincide with the league dates

·          Please wear a club top/sweater so that you are easily identified!

 Match Dates:

Please reserve pitch time for league matches on the following dates :

12-Oct, 02-Nov, 16-Nov, 30-Nov, 14-Dec, 08-Feb

·          ALL clubs entering teams in the leagues are asked to provisionally reserve 3 hours to facilitate 2 x Finals on 01-Mar

·          Jacqui Potter Cup & Plate competition dates are provisionally set and are dependent on number of entries

07-Dec, 18-Jan, 01-Feb, 18-Feb. 

·          The cup final date is yet to be confirmed as it may not take place on the traditional 17-Mar this year (by exception due to the Women’s world hockey league)

 Sun 05-Oct: First Registration deadline 

·          Please return all registrations for league teams using the attached registration form to this email address

·          Changes to be submitted by 5pm on last day of each month.

·          Please register all remaining players by the end of October.  This includes non-league players (e.g. Senior Infants to 6th Class).

Sun 14-Dec: Return all Cups & Shields from 2013-14 Season 

·          All shields and cups to be returned by December.

·          Trophies & Shields should be engraved with winning club's name and year of the final
